She is a Karman Fellow and founding member of the Global Space Enablers Network, reflecting her leadership in advancing space technology. She has also participated in the UNNATI Nanosatellite Assembly, Integration, and Testing Program, gaining hands-on experience in small satellite development.
Her expertise extends to cybersecurity, connectivity services, and business development, with certifications including Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). Wong Teck Sion
Wong Teck Sion has been at the forefront of Brunei’s satellite communications and space technology sector for over 12 years, driving innovation across technical, operational, and strategic fronts. With a double Master’s in Education and Science, he has led numerous project deployments across sectors including oil & gas, military, and rural connectivity—delivering reliable satellite solutions tailored to complex environments. His work also extends into renewable energy integration, supporting sustainable infrastructure in remote locations.
Teck Sion is known for his strong background in project management, customer engagement, and commercial strategy, playing a critical role in shaping Brunei’s broader technology ecosystem. His background spans cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), making him a well-rounded practitioner and educator committed to protecting digital assets.
As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, Kassim leads full-cycle security initiatives—covering risk assessments, solution architecture, incident response, training, and compliance.
